GRIEF SUPPORT

We can experience grief through many gateways, from the death of a loved one, an unresolved conflict, a traumatic event, chronic illness, ancestral wounding, sorrow at our troubled world, or in many other ways. Grief can bring feelings of shock, despair, anxiety, guilt, fear, numbness, or depression. Grief can arise from pain of the past, a crisis in the present, or from the anticipation of loss in the future. In general western culture tends to be both death-phobic and grief-illiterate, so it can be hard to find the kind and quality of support we really need to navigate this difficult terrain.

I offer a space of compassion, care, and respect for your own unique process. It is an honor for me to companion a person on their grief journey as this is a deeply vulnerable and powerful rite of passage. Alongside the somatic, emotional, and spiritual processes I can support you to explore, I offer perspectives and practices to help you to make sense of your life with this experience and to find a way through that allows you to   sickness needing to be cured or overcome. Grief can tear us apart, and it can also transform us into something new. and having supported many others through this life passage,

Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes long and take place by telephone, Skype, FaceTime, Zoom or in-person wherever possible. I offer a sliding scale to support all incomes and also offer a limited number of pro-bono sessions for those experiencing severe financial difficulty.
