WHOLEHEARTED
PATH

"Lara has been able to guide me to a point of clarity and forward momentum that has not been achieved by years of counseling. I am absolutely floored by her ability to guide and support me in this way."

INDIVIDUALS
My work is holistic, systems-focused, trauma-informed, somatically-based, and rooted in values of interconnectedness and belonging. I draw from a range of healing modalities and perspectives that I have been synthesizing over more than twenty years, with a focus on the underlying principles that these practices share. My intention is to support your system's natural propensity for healing and integration with events that felt overwhelming and disempowering in the past, and to help you navigate present and future challenges with insight, wisdom and compassion.
By working with me you can expect to; increase your capacity to attune to life-serving needs and emotions; connect and communicate with the natural intelligence of your body and intuition; identify the true sources of pain and learn new ways to embrace and digest difficult emotions; develop strong and flexible boundaries; speak truth without guilt, shame or fear; approach life with curiosity, confidence, and an expanded heart; build courage, trust, and resilience for difficult and uncertain times; and discover a deeper sense of meaning and belonging to guide you forward.
Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes long and may take place by phone, FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or in-person. I operate a sliding scale for low incomes and am able to provide pro bono sessions at times to those with severely limited resources. I offer an initial 20 minute consultation to talk through any questions you may have, and to see if we are a good fit. Just let me know if you'd like to connect and we can set something up.
I also offer customized daylong or weekend healing retreats.
