"Lara has been able to guide me to a point of clarity and forward momentum that has not been achieved by years of counseling. I am absolutely floored by her ability to guide and support me in this way."

PRIVATE SESSIONS
“Be of good courage as all is before you, and time passed in the difficult is never lost.
In the difficult are the friendly forces, the hands that work on us.”
~ Rainer Maria Rilke ~
My therapeutic practice provides relationally focused, somatically-centered, integrative healing support. I help you to connect with and engage the innate wisdom of your mind and body to process difficult life experiences, cultivate well-being in the present, and build a meaningful future. My work draws from a range of experiential, holistic, and dynamic therapies and integrates insights from diverse fields including; attachment science, systems theory, interpersonal neurobiology, socio-cultural anthropology, and consciousness studies.
We will work together to support your unlearning of old survival habits and access to your authentic self, so that you can honor your true needs and build genuine and empowered relationships with others. While old habits once helped you survive, they may be blocking your ability to respond authentically and wholeheartedly in the present. By peeling back the layers of social and cultural conditioning and tuning into your inner voice, you will gain the clarity needed to nurture yourself and discover a newfound wisdom to guide you forward.
Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes long and may take place virtually or in-person. I operate a sliding scale and am sometimes able to provide pro bono sessions to those with severely limited resources. I offer an initial 15-20 minute consultation to answer any questions you have, and to see if we feel like a good fit. Please reach out if you would like to connect, and we can set something up.
