PSYCHOLYTIC WORK
Psycholytic work combines the use of prescribed low-dose ketamine or legally obtained cannabis with facilitated support to assist you on your healing journey as you work through trauma, depression, or anxiety. Unlike high-dose psychedelic treatments that can cause intense altered states of consciousness, this gentle approach allows you to stay fully present while temporarily softening the defenses that can prevent your mind and body from breaking out of old patterns, creating a powerful window of neuroplasticity to facilitate change.
There are two ways you can choose to utilize your prescribed medicines as catalysts for deep, transformative growth during our work together. If you choose a daily microdosing ketamine protocol, such as the at-home care plan provided by Joyous, whose training I have completed, I can support you in processing and integrating your daily experience within that framework. Alternatively, if you are working with your own prescribing provider, we can explore higher-dose sessions for profound somatic unwinding and trauma resolution.
Psycholytic work can also be used to support couples navigating relationship challenges and seeking to deepen their connection. It can support the lowering of interpersonal defenses, helping partners communicate through deep-seated conflicts with increased empathy and less emotional reactivity. By introducing psychological spaciousness into our collaborative space, this work offers an invitation to soften your hearts, move toward mutual understanding, and explore ways to resolve hurt and deepen trust with each other.
Disclaimer:
I am an independent practitioner and an approved facilitator for Joyous. I am not a licensed medical professional, a licensed therapist, or a licensed clinical counselor.
I do not prescribe medication, diagnose conditions, or provide clinical psychotherapy. All medicinal protocols must be independently managed and prescribed
by the client's licensed healthcare provider, and relational work is focused strictly on non-clinical communication support and coaching.
