"I'm pretty sure more progress was made today than during the

seven years that I've been doing annoying therapy stuff.

Ruby Yagoda, Corvallis, OR (13 years)

I offer support for couples and families from a trauma-informed, somatic-centered, and systems-focused approach. My approach is to support the renewal of trust and connection by identifying and moving beyond the many culturally conditioned barriers that can create misunderstanding and disconnection through projections of blame and shame. No matter the challenges that you and your loved one(s) are struggling with, whether from a lack or loss of trust, communication difficulties, differing values, past wounds, or intergenerational trauma, if we can start to move beyond our preconceptions, assumptions, and evaluations of each other, then we have a good chance of being able to reach each other. I draw from a range of modalities that share similar underlying principles, including; Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Systemic/Family Constellations Therapy, and Imago Therapy.

Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes long and may take place virtually or in-person. I operate a sliding scale for low incomes and provide pro bono sessions at times to those with severely limited resources. I offer an initial 20 minute consultation to talk through any questions you may have, and to see if we are a good fit. Just let me know if you'd like to connect and we can set something up.

I offer customized daylong or weekend healing retreats for couples and families.
